I have exciting unique plans for the Spring break! I just have to get through three more days of work, a spanish class, a boxing class, a few more miles of running, a film screening at HBO and a book club, THEN I'll be spending four days in DC, it's been ten years since I've visited. Last time I was there was in 2001, I went to accept an award from the Presidents committee on Arts and Education, so I was right up in the heart of DC. Things are definitely different when you go some place as a young person than as an adult, so I'm looking forward to it.
Then--- when I return, I plan on painting NYC red! I'll be frolicking around the city, exploring, eating, drinking, having picnics, playing sports, celebrating birthdays and cooking an Easter dinner! It's going to be great!
I hope this year is better than last year when I was in Spain, but that's going to be difficult!
