A trip back to my second home, Belfast Northern Ireland. This was an emotional trip because I never thought I would be back, and to see everyone and everything that I have been missing for two years really got to me. It was an intense crazy four days I spent there! Here's just a taste of it in pictures:
My Spur of the Moment trip to NYC-- Was originally a 4 day trip, and my love extended my ticket for a week! Here's a peak:

Moving to Spain and making new friends. I got here in early September. Right away I feel in love with my room mates, made new friends, traveled, then my gorgeous friend moved here, it was an absolutely amazing time for me. Here's a few examples:
La Feria in Jaen. My room mate is from Jaen, it's about 4 hours away from Malaga, up north. We spent a few days there to celebrate the end of bullfighting season. I had THE TIME OF MY LIFE! I expected so much less, I don't know why. It was a PLEASANT SURPRISE!
Katie visits from Canada and Tom comes from Ireland to visit me before their one year journey around the world. FIRST STOP-- MALAGA!

SUMMER 2008--
what a great 4 months this was. I had a fabulous/fun job, great friends, great company, and new experiences. Me & Johnny went hiking and waterfall hunting, we went on vacation with my family (bros & dad), spent weekends on the Jersey Shore. I spent a lot of time with friends, Ann Marie's bridal shower and block party. fun fun fun!
In the Spring, I went to my good friends wedding in Florida. He & I met in Ireland, he is one of the smartest people I know. Me and my baby flew down and it was like a mini reunion of all my Irish friends. We stayed in a hotel on the pier and were non-stop partying and eating! CRAZY!
Winter & Spring 2008 were good too. Not the best, I was mostly busy working, and writing my dissertation (QUB, 120 pages). I had two jobs (teaching film classes in the Bx & NYC) and was training for a 10k (Scotland race in Central Park) on the weekends with my brother. I finished the race in record time! It was below freezing, but I still made it. AND I spent a lot of time at my family's house, eating and talking and stuff. Here's a few photos:

AND FINALLY, 2008 started with a BANG! In French Quebec with my baby (we drove 12 hours in blizzards, lol). We were there for New Years Eve, & the anniversary of Quebec! Those memories can never be replaced and it started off the year in a GREAT way! I recommend Quebec for New Years to anyone interested in a different experience!
