my wedding day, 2/19/11

It's 7am. I couldn't sleep for the past 30 minutes, even though my alarm was set for 8:30 because... TODAY IS MY WEDDING DAY!!!!!!!!!

I'M GETTING MARRIED TODAY!!!

heres my horoscope for today:

Your horoscope for February 19, 2011
You could be in an expansive, philosophical mood today, Chris. You feel ready to forgive people who may have disappointed you in the past, and are able to distance yourself from those people who continually annoy you. Your increased tolerance is likely due to a realization that you have much to be thankful for. Good for you for knowing enough to stop and count your blessings.

Okay, this is it, I'm marrying the man of my dreams and I'm so happy!!!

Three more days until we are a married couple.

Three more days until I tie the knot! We got the marriage license yesterday and the ring. My future in-laws got in today from Spain. Things are coming together and the people are assembling!
OH MY GOD!!!

More of LA, including the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Kodak Theatre, Santa Monica and the Hollywood Hills.
Great experience.

ugh.

I spent the whole day running errands for the wedding. It's next week! Ugh... I wish I can just have some fun! I know its just one weekend, but I don't want to plan anymore, I want to go on with my normal life! I guess I should enjoy it while it lasts.

Today, we bought wrapping paper and a sign in book and we wrapped all the party favors (aka gifts for the guests). We worked out the seating and we drove around to find good spots for pictures. We also downloaded more songs and organized them.

Tomorrow we'll continue to organize and plan. I'm not looking forward to it...

Can't wait for the wedding to get here, and more than the wedding, the honeymoon! Thats going to be the best part!

California bachelorette party!

As we descended into LAX, I thought to myself... wow, I'm in California, and I'm with my closest friends and in NYC I have the best man in the world who I'm going to marry in less than 2 weeks...

We had chicken and waffles for breakfast at the famous Roscoes Chicken and Waffles. It was like a dream come true!

The highlight of the trip was a pole dancing class. Now listen, a lot of people think a pole dancing class is like a training to be a stripper, but what it really is is a way for you to get in tune with your body, using your body to tell a story. Using the tool, (the pole) to guide you. It was quite beautiful, although I felt a little uncomfortable in front of all my friends, I don't know why. But I learned great tips to get through my marriage (if you know what I mean, hehe). I recommend this for anyone trying to find a creative bachelorette party activity!

We had a picnic on the beach and ventured into the water even though it was freezing cold! ha.

My big night out at Edison in Los Angeles. It is a 20's style club. It was the first factory in california, converted into a club. Very sophisticated.  We all wore fun accessories, masks, we had horns and whistles, and I had my bride veil! So fun to dress up!!!

More California blogs to come!
