So I knew I wanted to do something different to celebrate this Memorial Day Weekend, I just didn't know what... after having dinner and drinks with a friend on Friday and going to a dinner party on Saturday, Spanish guy and I decided to go hiking and row boating on Sunday and spend the day on the beach on Monday.
But we didn't go to the mountains to hike, we hiked in Central Park! lol. It was lovely! We crossed a river, climbed rocks and then made it to the boat house where we rowed around a huge lake and passed by Gondolas, it reminded us of our trip to Venice and our own Gondola ride. So romantic! After the boat ride we had lunch in the boat house cafe. It was really a wonderful experience.
We had a splendid holiday weekend. The weather was great and we had lots of new experiences as well as old classics, like iced coffees, Gelatos and long conversations... :D
